I agree, Steve. There is no rational reason why these cars don't sell for more. Unfortunately, the market sets the price, we don't. Due to an injury, I couldn't drive the SRT-6 anymore and it sat in my garage collecting dust for a year while I attempted to sell it for $24,000.

Buyers are not stupid and the ones that called me were a familiar with Crossfire pricing as I was. After a year, I wound up selling my 2,000 mile SRT-6 couple for $19,000 and was happy to get it. I took an $8,500 bath on the car and was probably lucky it wasn't more.

I loved that car, but, with a broken back in two different spots, it simply wasn't practical to keep. I initially went into this thing with my eyes wide open. Chrysler took a $19,000 shot when I bought the car ($46,000 list). I knew the prices would continue to drop but I figured I'd have this car for a very long time, so who cared.

Hold on to your cars if you can. I think the market is about bottomed out on these cars. But, then again, who knows.
