I think it is simply a matter of control. A lot of guys want to be able to do it themselves. Plus even if you have LET tune your ECU, you might want to go back to the original tune if you have to take it in for warranty work. It would be nice to be able to do that yourself without having to send the ECU out, or having to pay someone to come do it. That kind of thing.
ah, got ya. I am out of warrenty and didnt even think about that. Makes sense now, appreciate the info.
