Well I finally got around to trying out the weather stripping fix. I got 1/2" strip from the plumbing section at Walmart. I did pretty much what cgocifer said in the above post; running the strip along the seal attached to the door. It fixed the noise coming from the upper sections of both the drivers and passengers side windows. However, there is still some noise coming from the passenger side "plastic triangle" area, I'm going to need to experiment with that one. Overall the weather stripping fix work well. It cost about $3 and took about 10 minutes.
