Default Re: Daily Driver and a pulley

The ASP 178mm pulley is by far the safest based on actual time tested on our motors. The MB guys have almost 100k on theirs with no problems. Also a tune isn't needed with it. If you want to optimize for it, then go ahead. I have been running without a tune with the pulley for almost 9 months and the car has responded incredibly. After someone pointed out that the ASP had problems early on, I investigated it. I found their were 3 to 4 versions of the 178 ASP pulley. The verdict and final version was the pulley had to have the dampner. A solid piece was used in the first version and it failed. The first version was nearly 4 years ago, can't say that about the others. I hope in 4 years from now everyone is still happy with their products and possibly will be in it's 4th version.
