Default Re: do YOU know the boost...

Before you get too wiggy about the boost I would like to offer another of my thoughts.

Pop off the inlet to allow full air flow into the throttle body and take another measurment on the boost. I have been working on another project and have found that your boost is a TOTAL function to the inlet airflow. If there are known or unknown restrictions, the boost you get will be greatly altered.

Let us know what you got, and also BE SURE THAT YOU CHECK YOUR MEASURING INSTRUMENT to see that it is ACCURATE> DO NOT TRUST GAUGES. AT 61 I have lots of recent scars from STILL believing tools, gauges, and instruments that were out of calibration or otherwise reading wrong.
