trip down memory lane for some of you youngsters.

the crossfire and the 300 share a design element that was created by the "tuners" who came back after ww-2.

chopped and channeled.

new cars haddn't been designed since the late 30's (tanks and planes and such came first) and the young guys were running out of things to do with that old stale metal. they decided to make 'em lower...like today, by messing with the suspension but also by chopping the roof supports and windshield etc. lowered the whole roof by several inches. sometimes got so silly you were riding crouched-over and looking out thru a slit. that cool gangsta look of the 300 and crossfire is identical to what they did with the old chevys and fords except that, back then, they always leaked like mad.
