When I swapped my cup holder out for the storage bin, I noticed this hose coming up from the rear of the tunnel running to underneath the center console to something that looked like the locking mechinism. I disconnected the fittings that connect the hoses together to remove the console for the swap, but when I put everything back together, I noticed my center console would not lock, so Iam thinking maybe there is a leak now in the fitting causing the center console not to lock when the top is down, which I don't miss. I would fix it so it stays locked with the top down, but only if I could override this feature so I could open the console when the top is down. Maybe I'm wrong, so please correct me if I am . Thanks.
Don't know for sure, but is it a difference between completely unlocking the car vs. just the drivers side? I've got an 07 and have never had a problem with being able to get into the console when driving...but I almost always unlock both doors. Just a thought.
