Default Re: Daily Driver and a pulley

I know I'll get flamed for this but, I'd fork out the extra $$ and go with the 178 RENNtech kit. I done some searching on the forum and from what I could tell it would cost about $900 more than other kits that are on the market now. I know $900 is no small change but with all the problems I've been reading about like the tension pulley being too tight, people trying to find a belt that will fit right, water pump pulley's falling off, crank pulley's leaking oil a little, one guy's crank pulley even came off and the latest, a code 3 pulley causing a car to shut down from over heating. With the RENNtech kit my tension pulley is right where it was before the install and the crank pulley looks OEM a long with the whole set up. The only draw back is that the ECU is tuned a little on the conservative side as to not push the engine too close to it's limits.
