I'll take pics tonight, but nothing special. A few observations on my new 5000K HID kit ($71.99 delivered).
- I don't care what anyone says, 5000K has a blue tint to it. They turn yellow reflectors green.
- There is a very nice little shelf under the radiator overflow tank that will take 2 ballasts stacked for lows/fogs applications It even has an M6 stud to use.. The ballasts don't get even warm, so heat dissipation isn't an issue.
- If I had to install 2 ballasts on the drivers side, I would stack them, in the little brackets using an M6 spacer and an M6 stainless screw. Maybe in the future.
I have been singing the praises of Sylvania SilverStar Ultras for some time now, and while they are better than OEM, these suckers are much better than the halogens. Period. My bad. Aplechu is right. I am wrong.
Driving home from Atlanta last night, I was worried about pi$$ing people off with these things. But nobody seemed to mind.
In fact, anyone behind me could have turned their own lights OFF and used mine!
