I use the ashtray too. For calls though I bought one of the new Kenwood car stereo decks and it has bluetooth built in to it. There is a little mic that runs up to the side pillar and hooks onto the visor. (of course the wire is hidden). It works really well and I've tried driving and talking with out it and it's definitely not easy.
