Voyager, I purchased my car brand new, it was built in Jan. 04, and it came with the hydralic glove compartment door, from the factory.
A Chrysler dealer once told me they didn't stock parts for Dodges when I asked them for an oil filter for my Crossfire, and they couldn't find it on their computer. In their defence, it was August of 2005, just as the 06 Crossfires were about to come out, so they were still a little "shy" on Crossfire knowledge. I guess they just needed a little more time to brush up for the quizz.
