I will not mention the gauge company yet, but I would like the opinion of some of the forum members about this.

A customer of mine purchased gauges to have installed in his car. Upon installation the Oil Pressure gauge snapped in half. It appeared as if the gauge had been cut open and then JB Welded back together. Well it didn't hold up and broke. We tried Gluing back together and some glue dripped onto the lens, it also didn't hold.

Once the gauges were in the car, they had color change buttons. One got stuck in the down position and color change was disabled. The other was fine.

We uninstalled the gauges and sent them back to the company.

Now they are telling us that they will not refund the Oil Pressure gauge because of the glue on the lens. They said that this is not a saleable product and credit could not be given. I asked if they were going to sell a broken gauge anyway, and they said YES we will just reseal it back up.

Anyone else see an issue with this?
