Once a product has been messed with by either the purchaser or by another after market company a person usually realizes that it cannot be returned. Because you have done something regarding customer service doesn't mean that anyone else needs to. This is why you should not Bring things up and not mention the name of a company you are refering to. While you claim you are being good to the customer you aren't doing a thing for the other people out there that might be shopping for guages. Customer Service is more of an honerable trait than a rule. Give crappy service lose customers. A reputable business needs to post the truth when it can. True customer service is eating your profits when your not actually obligated to do so.
And further more how long did you actually think it would take for members to figure out who you were talking about? This really wasn't your issue but the customers.
