Default Re: Chrysler Employees?

I'm not a current Chrysler employee but I did work in the Los Angeles Assembly Plant in 1968, left for the draft and came back in 1970 for 6 months. I worked on the Glass line putting trim around the passenger side windshield, also put the washer jets hose assembly on. I started on the dock unloading boxcars full of seat springs, worked on the panel line for a time, and installed air conditioner units before the dash was put in.
My dad retired with 25 years at the same plant, was and inspector on the finish line, also worked as a repairman on the finish line for many years. He took early retirement, as the plant was condemend, I believe and closed. I found an old auto brochure in the garage that dates back to the fifties and his picture is actually in the brochure working as a repairman. It shows different aspects of the assembly plant. He was a loyal employee, never drove anything but a Chrysler product during the time of his employment and until he died.
