I’ve not fixed a bike to the back of mine, so I can’t say how effective this is. I would, of course, recommend slower driving with a bike strapped to the back (which is sensible anyway).

What will you be using the bike for? Driving to an out of town carpark and biking into work for example? Maybe a smaller folding bike which fits in the boot will do the job?
