Default CTS-V Jacka$$!! (long version)

So, my wife and I are cruising down the GW Memorial Parkway on our way to the park when a brand new 09 CTS-V comes flying right up on my bumper. He was driving erratically and was apparently pi$$ed because he was boxed in. Well, I punched it and put about 2 car lengths on him before he realized it. He comes flying past me in the other lane only to get stuck behind a minivan. I drove by slowly. He got back behind me, right on my bumper (probably only inches from it). It was uncomfortable, so I slapped it into 2nd and floored it putting about a car length on him before I slowed down due to an oncoming intersection. Well, he stayed in the gas and blew by me only to stop way before the light. He was waiting for me. My wife put the window down. I was expecting questions about the car, or some positive car-guy conversation. Boy, was I wrong! This 50 year old guy was shaking with adrenalin with veins popping out of his head says, "You ain't got nothing on me! That (my SRT) is a V6, this here is a V8!" I said, yeah, a supercharged V6 that weighs almost half that of your car. He replied, "This is supercharged too and has over 400 horsepower. You can't handle this and can't afford it. Don't even try to run it!" He then started sputtering and speaking in toungs about 0-60mph times and etc. while shaking and spitting. The light turned green and I went on my way. He made a smoking burn out u-turn and left. This guy must have just purchased this car and was utterly pi$$ed that someone dare out run him and had actually pulled away from him. He obviously didn't know much about his car either. Those put out over 550 hp and can run 0-60 in a tick over 4 seconds. He seemed like the guy who walks into a dealership and says, "I want the most expensive and fastest car you have. " Those guys only know what the dealer tells them and maybe read a little about it in a brochure.

These new CTS-Vs will most likely kill SRT-6s; however, I don't think he expected the exceleration. I caught him off guard and then didn't stay in it long enough for him to catch up and pass, which probably added to his frustration. I did short spurts because I do not need to crash, get tickets, or endanger anyone else for someone's ego.

Just thought I'd share. I have never met such a complete jacka$$ as this guy. This was a 50+ year old dude acting worse than a spoiled rotten teenager with his dad's Corvette.
