So, here's what they told me. Note that this was the service manager, not the technician. The technician had left for the day when I picked the car up.
Diagnostic code is Stored Code 2023. I couldn't find that code anywhere. The description is Secondary Air Injector Relay Circuit Signal Error, which seems to relate to the P0410 error mentioned in an above post. The stated fix is to replace the Air Injector Module. I don't know what part this is to look it up and see how much it should cost, and whether it's a part that can be replaced fairly easily.
