I understand everyones worries about heat, but have you tried taking the filter box off when its hot? its really hot!
One thing I know is that the difference is incredible! almost instant throttle response! and the sound is amazing almost like a V8. this car has come to life! Im thinking about going to the strip this weekend and see what new numbers I get now!
Hey its cheaper than a set of stock filters too! just try it you'll be shocked! Im wondering if this shows how restrictive the stock system is because the time it takes to build up the vacuum on the stock filters back to the intake. also I dont know what you mean by forcing air in its not a turbo or s/c....Were talking about less restriction, there is no force with stock, just cool air ducted into a hot box! sucked in by the motor (vacuum) Any wind force is null when it hits the filters until the vacuum pulls it thru the filter after building up vacuum between the intake and the filter....just my opinion......
