Default Re: Winter Descisions?

IMHO, since I bought my roadster and SRT6 for the long term, they are off the road next month. Washed, waxed, and stored under covers.

My son will be driving his this winter, but only when the roads are clear, which isn't too often here in west MI. We don't get as much snow as Stowe VT, but still run about 8-10' a winter. I did price new rims and Blizzaks and for the price I could have bought him a true winter beater. So he'll get to take it on nice days (i.e., no snow or ice on the road) and on the rest of the days ride in his sisters A4 quattro or his mom's Milan FWD. I will be buying him a couple 50 lb bags of sand for the "trunk" just in case the weather surprises him at school.

As I've said before, he is planning on going to college in FL next year so winter driving becomes moot. And he doesn't get the car his freshman year either -- he needs to study and socialize (maybe he can meet the babe in the picture...I'd like that for a daughter-in-law).
