I saw a black crossfire in Madison when I was home and it looked pretty nice. Though I didn't wave or anything since I wasn't in a crossfire. But right now the crossfire is still a "normal" car.

In a few years when just about everyone forgets what the crossfire was and only the enthusiasts start to own them, there will be waves from all owners. The car is simply too mainstream at this point in time, which is hard to believe! But most (not all) people who I tell that I own a crossfire have some idea what it is. OTOH, very very few people (non-enthusiasts mostly) know what a VW corrado is. And those who do, always give a thumbs up or wave when they see me in it. The crossfire is destined for the same treatment.
The Corrado is a sweet car. My friend in college had one and we had a ball in that thing. I hope it becomes a culture the way it has for the corrado. Before the x-fire i had an ep3 civic si and i always got waves from fellow drivers. I just assumed that common car owners of something a little more that an object to get from a to b would show respect to their peers.
