And in fact, I didn't know the pulley backing plate moved to the clutch, I thought the clutch moved to the backing plate. Wow! Such great info you guys have.

Also... I did use WD40 to get the new pulley off when it got stuck on the shaft and I couldn't move in either direction. I dried it off pretty well though.

And thanks for the email from Code3 regarding your issue. Exact same as mine. I'm considering removing one of the spacers to tighten things up. It doesn't appear that it will rub.

And for my belt, its on as tight as it can be since the tensioner is pre-set. But just to note, I installed a new belt with the pulley, so its possible uhm theres some sort of break-in period, who knows.
