YES it does happen to people with a stock supercharger clutch pulley as well there are numerous threads on this. That Is why I stated this could be what is possibly happening now to the code3 pulleys. My supercharger clutch makes I am willing to bet $100 the same high pitch squeak when it engages at about 2800 rpms when it is cold as your aftermarket C3 pulley. Sorry for the confusion on the last post with the no problems here, I wasn't referring to the noise I was referring to the earlier discussion of pulley quality.
According to Woody's video of supercharger clutch engagement, the clutch engages at about 1300rpms, not 2800, or anything around that high. And it stays on until you brake to a stop. It would be too much stress to engage at such a high RPM. So anyone who hears a squeek that high may have some other problem. Of course I'm no expert so others can chime in...
But anyways the good news is... drumroll... Today, on our coldest morning yet, the s/c pulley and clutch never squeeked, not even the slightest chirp. So I'm relieved.
