Since the temperature drops as you move away from the manifolds and the gasses condense, You need the big diameter pipes up by the engine, by the time you get to cat back you really don't need them. Might sound a little cooler. I'm sure you already know this but I think you're headed in the wrong direction. Why would I lay out, what's going to turn out to be big bucks if I don't get the bang?
good point. but those running 185 pullies, will most likely benefit from ANY larger size exhaust due to the much higher boost.
perhaps 2.5" from front all the way back is a better way to go for those running simpler setups.......
NOTHING with modified cars is ever EXACTLY 'by the book' from car-to-car, sometimes big gains and beautiful torque-DYNOsheets come from the strangest configurations. we will be DYNOing many possibilities.
