Carnuaba or Synthetic waxes? I have been using several layers of synthetic waxes or sealants, like Zaino, Klasse, etc. as a protective base and topping with a layerable carnuaba, like P21S or S100, to get a deep wet shine. It all depends on the look you want. Paint prep is the key to extracting the maximum possible shine from your paint and use whatever wax/sealant/glaze/or polish you decide on to protect the paint and add shine and depth. Using a swirl mark remover and/or paint cleanser, clay bar are part of the paint prep process. I also use ClearKote's QuikShine as my quick detailer of choice. I find it leaves the surface even slicker and easier to clean than Zaino's Z-6. Zaino Z-2 or Z-5 and P21S or S100 wax will not stain your trim and are relative easy to apply and buff off. Plenty of excellent waxes or sealants out there. You may want to go to the
