I was a little worried about pressing them in too hard.

Also I am having a bit of trouble getting the plugs to fully clip into the injector. Should they still "click" in? Or are retainers still reccomended to use?
After seeing Anthony's post yesterday, I re-did mine this morning. I was seeing the same things you are. Pull the injectors back out of the fuel rail about 1/8th of an inch and you will see a notch. The clips slide in perfectly and the plugs "snap" right into place with no problem at all. You also will not see the o-ring on the bottom after reinstalling. It took about 2/3 less time just knowing that little bit of information.

It's a shame there wasn't info provided that would have made this a simple install for the average DIYer. It isn't hard to do.....when you have all the information needed. I do have to say that the wiring harness cover is probably the worst part of the whole darn thing....what a pain in the ****.
