2). The XF is all MB SLK 320 under the skin, hence the transmission problem has nothing to do with Chrysler. MB has never made a really good manual, the auto is a different story. I will admit that I am a TT owner, and I read the other thread w/ ammusement but had nothing useful to add until now...I am suprized that you AZ are commenting on the XFs transmission, but ignoring saskins claim that "You would never think that these stock transmissions are able to handle up to 1500 horsepower." maybe I am misunderstood him, but unless I missed an automotive miracle there arent any automobile trannys that can handle that much power in production.

Even MBs exercise in excess - the SL-56 had to be detuned because the transmission could not handle the 830+hp (1000+ torque) that the engine is capable of.

I understand entusiasim (sp) but sometimes you all should call each other out and raise BS flag, when necessary.
