I didn't re-read the entire post, however one reason the vehicle looks so low is due to the tires diameter. The stock wheel and tire combo stands 25.9 to 26 inches tall on the rear. A 285/30-20 is anywhere from 26.6 to 27 inches tall depending on the manufacturer. A 235/35 19 is also 2 or 3 tenths of an inch taller then a 225/40 18 that comes standard on the front.
The taller tire fills the wheel well better and gives the visual impression the car is lower. No doubt though that this car has been lowered.
