Yeah, I hear you. A lot of times, the linesman don't really know what to do. Atco has a great crew there and they really know what is going on so I trust them when they pull me up. If you are unsure, you can always open the door, lean out and look where the water stops. That is what I do sometimes. A 1.81 60 is good and you will do better once you get the technique down. I run hoosiers on my race cars and yes, a shorter burnout is all you need with those! As soon as you start to see smoke, let go of the brake and ride it out until you feel the "catch" of the tires. 1.7's 60's are in your future! lol
