I think 8000 would be too much blue. I installed 6000 on my Eclipse when I had it... and it was really blue. Even though it was a lot brighter than the stock halogens, it was still pure blue; I could not imagine what 8000 would be, probably the same but much less light output. I also think I would be happy with 4300 or 5000. But you cannot go by the charts... I saw one where it showed 6000 being almost a brilliant white... or maybe after it all, they sent me the wrong bulbs and I never knew lol.
