I just want to be clear on this:

You would consider paying $800 per wheel to get a 1/2 second improvement on a 0-60 mph time? But then it is stated that lighter wheels may be unsafe?

That sure does not make a lot of sense to me...

This car was not designed to be a dragster. If that is what you want, go and buy one...

To me it sounds like this: I just bought a dishwasher for $550, but I really want it to wash cars. For $30,000 more I could make it a really cool car wash.

Why not just buy a carwash from the beginning?
