I would think that a post cooler would only add travel distance for the charge air prior to entering the intake plenums causing spool and boost pressure issues.

My AIT gauge show's pretty tame temps with my set up. Not sure how much closer to outside air temps one can get without refrigeration and spending massive $$$.
