Default Re: 30 jars of wax or a SRT-6 ?!?!?!

Amazon still carries the Zymol Vintage Estate Wax for $2,184.00 for 22oz but apparently the stopped carrying the $9,000 version of the Zymol Estate Wax. It should be noted that these products come with free refills for life. If that matters to most of you.

Many of these old Zymol products (not to be confused with the Zymol products found at WalMart by the way) were supposedly developed for specific cars back in the day, like the Bugatti Royale, etc. The suggested application method is by hand - literally. No applicator pad, just soften it up with the wamth of your hands and rub it onto the paint, using your warm skin as an applicator.

I have personally seen a comparison, on a perfectly prepared non metallic black panel, of a $2,500/8oz wax against Meguiar's M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax that sells for $12.50/16oz and simply could not tell them apart. You'd think the product that cost 384 times as much would look different ... somehow.

As far as overall protection goes, consider that anything capable of etching paint (bird droppings, acid rain, eggs, etc) is not going to be stopped by a liquid or paste that you wipe onto the paint and then remove so as to leave just a microscopically thin layer behind. That is NOT what a wax or sealant is designed to do.
