A lot of the "slower" teams are catching up in a serious way. Look at BMW's progress over the past couple of years, and Toyota suddenly showing that they can playl in this arena after years of spending untold millions just to languish in the back half of the field. STR has made huge strides, as has Renault all of a sudden - back to back wins for Alonso after starting the season so poorly that he's actually considered a move to ....... wait for it........ Honda! Speaking of whom, if Ross Brawn can't pull that team up by their bootstraps then look for them to regularly fill the back row of the grid as even Force India pulls away. Remarkable.
