Do those have to be painted before putting on? I dont want them to match my body, I'd like them black but is the finish on there one that can be fine, like is it clear coated. Also they don't have instructions on how to install it. I know it says its easy but that does not mean its easy enough for me.
They are extremely easy to install. I did a quick test fit first and found they basically just drop into place. I then pulled the adhesive backing off the tape and stuck them where I wanted, then I drilled the holes and popped in the plastic rivets. Done.
The finish is along the lines of the cowl cover at the base of the windshield, maybe a bit smoother. I left mine as is and really like the look. They wash up with soap and water and every so often I apply some Meguiar's M40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner to them.
Roll the back of the car up on ramps - it makes installation a snap.
