I installed a new head unit (Pioneer DEH-P980BT) so I could add components.
Then I added:

• iPod
• XM
• HD Radio
• BassLink Sub
• Four two-way rear speakers

I left the factory amp, door speakers and tweeters, and behind-the-seat subwoofers.
