A Mach1 and a 350Z aren't realistic for a comparitive, unless you only drive straight lines, I don't. Look around, see the reports, and the performance of the two cars, and its not the same. The Z wasn't ever intended to be a straight line car, although you can drive it like that, just like the Crossfire, its for turns, but it has adequate straight line power.
The Mach 1 is an American muscle car, I have driven it before, hard, its a monster straight line car from the factory. But thats about it. The shifter feels vauge, the steering, well, different, the brakes, well, different, its just not my cup of tea.
And about your statement about being 50HP short of stardom, is that what you say to yourself when talking about having a Stang' and not having an F-body? (kidding)
