I went with a single 8W7 sealed. I powered the system with JL's class D 4 channel amp.300 watts rms to the 8 and 150 per channel to the stock components in the doors. It actually has a very realistic bass sound. Deep extension without sounding fatigued or overstressed. My enclosure is a simple MDF baffle which I fiberglassed over the tire kit area. It left all of my cars interior space. I just had to move the compressor/tire goo somewhere else. The choice of JL's class D amps is a good one. You won't find more efficient amplifiers. I'll try to load some pics later.
