I searched but couldn't find a thread concerning how to remove the tow away indicator light on the dash. I referred to the operators manual but that was of no help. Therefore, when I took my SRT to the local chrysler dealer for an oil change before putting it away for the winter ,I had them resolve the problem. It took their crossfire tech contacting a chrysler corp. tech to determine that a burn't out license plate light was the cause . Incidentally the dealer charged $144.70 for this most recent oil change. I found it curious that they had charged $92. 25 for nine quarts of Mobile 1, when its sump capacity is 8&1/2 quarts, and upon questioning the service tech his explanation was that the oil is sold by the quart. I pointed out that when they previously changed the oil, I had been charged for 8&1/2 quarts or $85.00, his response was that oil costs have gone up. Ridiculous, in that the price had not gone up, but rather they had charged me instead for 9 quarts.
