You can put a nice fat 315 or 335 on the 9.5 wide wheel. That is 12.5" or 13" of rubber on the road. That should look pretty hefty. No need to go to an 11" wheel.

I agree the largest I went was 10.5 with and without a spacer. WITHOUT a spacer there is about 1/4 of an inch gap between the wheel and inner fender wall when the suspension is at full travel, as in the rear end jacked in the air.
