Well, anyways, while I was under there I pulled the cover on the cabin air filter, which the base roadster wasn't supposed to have installed, and what do you know - there was filter in there - pretty dirty and loaded with dead leaves... hm-m-m... got a new one and it popped right in.
IF you have dead leaves in your air filter, make sure you unscrew the base to the blower motor and clean it out. I can almost guarantee you it has junk in there.
