Default Re: 2009 Calendar

I haven't fully thought this through yet but assume we need to be able to buy calendars from 1st week in December then ideally all done and dusted by end of Nov, voting taking place last week in Nov gives until end of next weekish , say 23rd Nov, to get pictures up on the site to vote on.

Yes the numbers are to allow a vote to take place.

I'm winging this a bit and making it up as I go along !

My impression of the Lulu web site is that unless the quantities exceed 300 ( unlikely ) then buying anything from 1 to 299 is the same price with no minimum spend. They print as you order, a bit like Moonpig cards ( which I use extensively). Therefore I don't believe we need to commit to any quantity. We can make the calendar "public" which means that anyone can buy from the web site. When doing this you set your price against the charge that Lulu make per calendar. Therfore there is an option to make a profit. I don't believe we want to do that and intend to charge to the penny what Lulu charge me and therefore sell "at cost" with zero profit.

I haven't actually done this yet but did play around with various options and looked at their FAQ and some reviews. Might be an idea if someone else checks this out in case I am confused.

cheers

Paul
