Test drove a uk spec Crossfire on Saturday and it was absolutely stunning. I have posted some pics to my album. It felt very solid and fast, the fastest I drove was about 95mph and it was very smooth. The engine sounded good (much like a Mercedes engine normally sounds), however it was an automatic so I could not get the max out of the engine on the roads I drove on (South West Scotland). The car was solid over the rough stuff and only a hint of understeer on sharp corners. One of the best things I liked about it was the noise of the wing reclining as I slowed down approaching a roundabout (very cool, like an aircrafts flaps when coming into land).

As it was an automatic it was hard to tell if there was enough room for your left foot if it were a manual, but there was plenty of room in the automatic (I have size 9 shoes). There was plenty of leg room and head room ( I am 5' 11" small).

The stereo has green backround and clear black writing so I think there will be no problem with seeing it during the day.

On the UK wide release day my dealer is inviting me for another test drive and a meal in a resteraunt !!!! They think I will have my car (6 speed manual silver) at the earliest end of November into 2nd week of December at the latest. They are also fuming mad about the 400 metallic paint charge and are talking to Chrysler about this during next week. They will have more details about the servicing routine etc as well during next week.

One bad point is that the car does need the boot cover as standard as it is naked without it, it feels like it should be there and I feel we should not have to pay for it.

Any other questions please feel free to ask and I hope all the UK buyers get to try the car soon as you will not be dissapointed. ( back tyres are 255).
