The rubber boot that filter is mounted on is a bit tight but if you remove it from the filter first then it can be clamped in place, then work the filter onto the boot afterward . . . . nice tight fit!

That looks pretty cool! It's amazing how well those 'Hot Air' systems work! I have the code3 green foam over my throttle body. It hauls ***! but I too have been thinking about getting some cold air to it without cutting up my hood, although louvres would look pretty sharp assuming you had a anti hydro lock device. I think it would be cheaper and easier to just buy a Needswings system, but I love the SC scream I get with the foam grid.
