I bought mine 30 months after it was built, with 18 miles on the clock, and drove it "like I stole it" immediately. It didn't fully feel broken in until I hit about 2600 miles.

P.S. I got the 8yr/80K mile warranty on it, so I wasn't too worried about breaking anything.
