There aren't many cars that Appreciate in value over time. Most, if not all, are not driven much. My crossfire doesn't lose it's value when I drive it.
I am not worried about depreciation having bought mine "new" for half the sticker price. Despite this the car is now, 11 months later, worth much less than that. Could buy it on E-Bay today for less than $13,000.
Saw an '04 go with 50M miles for $8,300 on EBAy last nite. Given the current economy, we will likely see more of that.
So, this morning I got into my worthless POS Crossfire and drove to work.......GRINNING THE WHOLE TIME!
And when I can, I'm buying another one for when the wheels fall off this one. Even though they don't have a decent cup holder.
As far as I'm concerned, the price can keep on dropping. Keep in mind, no matter how cheap they are, this car will always be cool to drive.
