Your best bet is to use an add-a-fuse and just find one that is hot when the key is on inside the fuse box. You can run the wire out the side through one of the rubber grommets and it will keep everything from getting wet. Another nice thing about this, you're not cutting into any wires and having to worry about them corroding.
