You want to connect the amplifier ground to the chassis adn the positive wire from that should connect to the (+) side of the cap. You also connect teh (+) ofthe cap to the (+) terminial of the battery and the (-) side to the chassis. If it's easier, You can just connect the ground from the amplifier the the (-) side of the cap.
