I have never been able to get any "expensive" Halogen bulbs to last more than a few months. I've bad bad luck with PIAA, Silverstar, Nokya. For the money I spent on them, I could have bought a proper set of HIDs, so that is exactly what I did, and I've never had a problem with any of those in my last 3 cars. Supposedly, an average HID bulb should last 5-7 years. So they say. I've never had one go out. My friend has a 2001 Acura CL-S that he bought new and it still has the original HIDs after 8 years and 127,000 miles.
