Over a year later, I drive hard canyons roads with no performance degradation, uneven tire wear or any other issues.

This is the ONE THING that really turns me off about this forum. The bitchin, belly aching, and people telling each other that they dont know ****.
It seems to me that 90% of the input given on this forum is good, knowledgable, and creditable.Lets all try to use this as a resource for information so that we can all benefit, and have some respect for one another. We all will never agree on everything but that doesnt make any of us right, wrong or ********-------------------Dave
I will agree with ppro (to a point) - it's common sense that you don't cut progressive rate springs - but the Crossfire doesn't come factory with progressive rate springs.

I choose this path because the Eibach lowering springs were "softer" then the SRT6 springs - but I understand a bit stiffer then the Limited.

Having owned both a Limited and now an SRT6 - the one thing I really disliked about the Limited was the amount of body roll when I pitched the car into a 120MPH turn (BTW - I have a nice, recently paved 4 lane farm road that I use for testing - no danger to civilians).

The stock SRT6 just eats this turn up - I have taken this turn at 140 MPH with my lowered SRT6.

I did learn that there is a rubber bump-stop on the shock that needs to be trimmed when you lower your car - Eibach suggests you trim this snubber to.

I can't speak for the ride change on the Limited - I only did this mod to my SRT6 - but the SRT6 is a stiff ride from the factory; as an example - the freeway just north of my town is cement and rides like a washboard for just about all cars. At 65mph I do hop on this stretch (but also in my trucks and bikes!)

On night at 1:30 AM I took this stretch at 120+MPH - guess what? no washboard effect - now that's a sports car for ya!...
