Hey Mike;
It's not that often I have agreed with you but your right about one thing. Ppro doesn't know what he is talking about. As you said the Crossfire doesn't use progressive springs and cutting them can sometimes be the absolute best way to finely tune suspention and ride hieght.
On my SRT I used a R170 series spring and cut 1 full wind from both front and back. This was not done blindly I have cut many springs over the years. I also agree with the comment that sometimes those that purchase parts rather than try to alter or build them on their own is done due to lack of knowledge, nerves and or talent.
If you own a Crossfire and want a great look and increased handling "CUT AWAY"!
